Peripatetic* way of thinking

        

        Later, when searching for a new ideal which would integrate the activities we now distinguish as arts and sciences, Feyerabend expressed scepticism about the old ideal of ‘Truth’:

        This new ideal should be simply to make people more pleasant and more interesting, to make life happier, to make the world better, to make the beer better, and so on. These are all reasonable. Moreover, I am not being facetious (treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor) when I mention things like beer. For I think it important to cut down to size those who say we must concern ourselves with nothing less than the search for Truth. For what Truth is nobody really knows.
